HSE International's Principal, Fernando Rodriguez, is a member of the Conference Committee, and he will co-chair along with Kris Ravishankar (Oxy Oil & Gas), the following Panel: Constructive Engagements Over Tough Issues: Guidance Across the Oil and Gas Industry.
The expansion of onshore oil and gas activity in the US and across new global frontiers has introduced new communities to our industry. With increased public attention and interested stakeholders, the expectations for transparency and social responsibility in the industry are ever changing. The panel will inspect the current status of guidance in the industry for community engagements, specifically looking at the importance and practical realities of such engagements. Speakers will include David Atkins with Shell, Roland Goodman with American Petroleum Institute, Doug Bannerman with Statoil ASA, and Kelly Arnold with the Town of Windsor.
Since 1993, this conference has brought together HSE professionals for knowledge sharing, learning and networking. Experts from industry, government, and academia attend to share insights and best practices. With a new location and a theme of “Striving for HSE Excellence–It Takes All of Us,” this year’s event will include presentations and discussions to help attendees address the health, safety, security, and environmental challenges facing the E&P industry.
Topics Covered will include:
